Continued success with Ts7 – Heartlight

HEARTLIGHT continues to gain momentum enjoying heavy rotation on the A playlist at Radio 1 Extra for the past few weeks. The official video featuring the talented Taylor Fowlis has been added to both MTV Base and MTVDance playlists.

There has also been huge support over at Radio 1 including Danny Howard, the track beat Nicky Romero winning “Trending Track” on Radio 1′s dance anthems show and only yesterday Sara Cox closed her daytime Radio 1 show with the track. Paul has already been back in the studio with Ts7 and Penny Foster to work on a follow-up over at Universal’s studios in London.

Radio 1 Playing “HeartLight”

Hello!

I recently collaborated with Penny Foster on writing the melody and lyrics for urban super producer Ts7. The track is called “HeartLight” and it is released on 3beat Records on 25th February 2013.

It has now had several plays on Radio 1 and Radio 1 Extra and we are all hoping for continued success. I even got a shout out from Ts7 on Radio 1 Extra. Here’s the track from the exclusive first play:

A song I co-wrote and recorded with Jupiter Ace and Geneva Lane is starting to make waves around the world. It was recently played by Pete Tong on BBC Rado 1 and is currently being dropped nightly by one of the worlds best superstar DJs AVICII… Stay tuned for more music from myself and Geneva soon.

2012 set to be a good one.

This year is going to be a good one. I have scratched out the blue print for my next solo album and already half way through! I have moved to a new Studio space in Hammersmith which I am loving and the album really has its own unique style and sound. I am performing next week on January 19th at an intimate night called “Sneaky Peak” at High Road House in Chiswick and will be doing a few from the new album… Also this may not be the only album I make this year.. More news on that later in the year!

New Album Finished!

I have recently moved house and have just set up a brand new space for my recording studio. I aim to be recording some brand new material very soon. I’m happy to announce that there is a new album complete that I am mixing and mastering but not sure what the title is going to be yet, it’s working title is “Little Fire”. The album will include songs that some people might know from my time in Australia including “The Underdog”, “Time Will Tell and “Future Holds”.

Recording Cello for Catapult

On Monday night we recorded the Cello parts for the forthcoming Single Catapult (lucky take 5). We were both really happy with the session and proud of the recording. Can’t wait for everyone to hear the finished track.

It was decided earlier in the weekend that I would do a 5th take of Catapult, dropping the Key and slowing the pace a little, unfortunately I cut my finger on a glass table. I managed to just about play the guitar okay but then my Rode Microphone decided to stop working, knowing that I had the Cello session the next day I improvised and ended up using a Shure Beta 87 and it actually came out sounding sweet! It’s the first time I’ve used a gigging mic for recording in years.
